DoPT hires consultant to introduce reforms in bureaucracy?
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has reportedly hired a private consultant to overhaul bureaucracy. This is considered to be a move aimed at embracing digital governance and boosting efficiency. The consultant is likely to recommend a roadmap for bureaucratic reforms. The centre has sought this external expertise to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. The consultant is expected to analyse the current bureaucratic structure, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions that can be implemented.
